**Overview**

In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, goods, and materials to various destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. **Responsibilities**
* Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor\-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll\-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.
* Follow planned routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
* Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety protocols.
* Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling procedures.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with legal requirements.
* Conduct pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
* Manage logistics cargo handling efficiently to optimize delivery routes and improve overall operational productivity.
**Qualifications**
* Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving route driving and freight transportation.
* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type operated.
* Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently.
* Knowledge of truck types such as tractor\-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll\-off trucks, and hazardous materials regulations.
