**Title – Senior Compliance Consultant** **Job id \- Sedaa4475** **Location \- Oakland, CA (hybrid)** **Pay Range: 70k \-90k/annum** ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN BAY AREA/NEAR WORK LOCATION \- OAKLAND. ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID AND REQUIRED ON\-SITE AT OAKLAND GO 3 DAYS A WEEK. CLIENT LAPTOP WILL BE ISSUED. ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUPPLIER. CALLS AND MEETINGS WILL BE VIA MS TEAMS. **TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR:** * **Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance Expertise:** Moderate understanding of industry\-specific regulations (e.g., CPUC, FERC, OEIS, CAISO) \- interpreting legal requirements, ensuring adherence, and staying updated on changing regulatory environments. * **Risk Management and Analytical Skills:** The ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, combined with critical thinking and strategic analysis. Paying close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting, managing change and influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and utilizing tools such as MS Project or Visio for tracking and reporting. * **Project Management and Communication:** Competence in managing project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and monitoring, along with excellent interpersonal skills leading cross\-functional teams, communicating complex compliance requirements to stakeholders, and managing project deadlines ensuring timely completion of a multifaceted project plan. **Job Description:**Lead and participate in cross\-organizational projects that will maintain and strengthen CLIENT's Shared Services compliance infrastructure. Analyze current compliance processes, benchmark as needed, and provide guidance to officers, directors, and their staffs. Assist Shared Services organizations with the design and implementation of best practice guidance, procedures, controls, and metrics that facilitates employees' ability to find and understand the external and internal compliance requirements
