Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to join our team at a reputable pharmacy in Eagle Rock. This position offers the opportunity to lead the pharmacy team and make a significant impact on patient care. **Duties** \- Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure the pharmacy adheres to state and federal regulations, facility SOPs, and professional standards \- Provide professional services such as dispensing, supply and distribution, and clinical and quality improvement \- Communicate with medical personnel and patients, physicians, and the community \- Directly supervise pharmacists and other staff, such as pre\-production, cleanroom, and post\-production staff \-Monitor training and work with the training/compliance team to ensure training is up to date \-Provide advice and counseling to customers about side effects, drug interactions, and dosages \- Manage inventory, supervise pharmacy staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives \-Open and close the pharmacy, either directly or through delegation, review batch records and documentation, and identify trends or issues that may be delaying or causing batches to be discarded **Requirements** \- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution \- Active pharmacist license in the state of California \- Prior experience working in a pharmacy setting \- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology \- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Pay: $70\.00 \- $75\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
