Information Technology Analyst IV (Cloud Data Engineer)

Solano County Department of Information Technology (DoIT) provides customer\-oriented and convenient access to information and services through the use of technology; anytime \- anywhere. The guiding principles of DoIT are: * Support and facilitate access to County information for the public and its employees and to help the County conduct its business in a fast and easy manner * Support the business goals of the County in an efficient, cost\-effective manner * Provide safe and secure systems and an integration mechanism to streamline business practices * Provide ongoing technology training for staff * Provide opportunities for constituents to utilize technology in their interaction with the County * Share and exchange information using multiple channels **IDEAL CANDIDATE** The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge in modern data warehouse technologies, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Kimball data modeling, facts and dimensions design, and data engineering practices including Medallion Architecture. They should be skilled in ETL development using SSIS and Azure Data Factory, and proficient in SQL, Python, and R. Strong experience with Power BI, DevOps, Purview, and Dynamics CRM is highly desirable. Preferred certifications include Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure AI Associate, Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solution Architect, DAMA CDMP, and Power BI Data Analyst. **THE POSITION** Information Technology Analyst IV This is the fourth classification level within the Information Technology Analyst job series.
