Automation Engineer

**The Opportunity:** We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for the management of system infrastructure and applications. As an automation engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission\-forward change. You’ll work with a cross\-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain, and improve our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. The world can’t wait. **You Have:** * 3\+ years of experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell * 2\+ years of experience with automation tools including Ansible * Experience with CI/CD toolsets including GitLab or Jenkins * Experience writing Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform * Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration * Experience with infrastructure\-as\-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large\-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) * Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure as well as applications in on\-premise and Cloud environments including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED **Nice If You Have:** * Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day\-to\-day system operations in Cloud environments * Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration * Knowledge of automation and process improvement through holistic programming solutions * Ability to analyze business requirements for the design of aut
