Job description

**Position Summary**
Harmony Health is seeking a Part\-Time Caregiver (Direct Support Professional) to provide one\-on\-one support for a member located in Nashville.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and comfortable with providing personal care. Prior Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
**Schedule (Part\-Time)**
* Monday – Friday hours vary, Weekends Available
**Responsibilities / Job Duties**
* Assist member with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, incontinent care, and housekeeping.
* Provide companionship, emotional support, and promote independence and choice.
* Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
* Monitor safety and wellbeing, ensuring proper health and safety practices are followed.
* Assist with communication using text and whiteboard as preferred by the member.
* Support with positioning and comfort for bedridden care.
* Maintain accurate documentation, observation notes, and reports according to agency policies.
* Attend required training and participate in the Individual Support Team as needed.
**Requirements**
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Comfortable with providing incontinent and bedridden care.
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful in all interactions.
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous caregiving or DSP experience preferred.
* CNA certification a plus but not required.
* CPR certification preferred.
* Satisfactory completion of background checks and screenings as required.
