**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. **Duties**
* Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
* Execute food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
* Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with safety standards in production
* Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure food safety and prevent contamination
* Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately
* Serve dishes promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to safety standards
**Requirements**
* Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or restaurant environment is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of food safety management, handling, and sanitation practices
* Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a fast\-paced setting
* Familiarity with food industry standards including safety standards in production and food handling procedures
* Ability to demonstrate excellent knife skills, slicing techniques, and attention to detail in food prep tasks
* Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately a
