**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Classroom Aide at CHCCAA plays a crucial role in advancing our mission to expand opportunities and build self\-sufficiency for our community members. This position supports the Head Start Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The role involves providing supplies materials and support for the classroom, and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.The ideal candidate will use their skills to embody our values and contribute to our vision of a thriving, self\-sufficient community.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
**Functional Responsibilities:**
* Support teaching staff by fulfilling requests for supplies needed in the classroom; order supplies as needed.
* Inspect incoming materials for conformity to purchase order specifications; reports shortages, damage, or other discrepancies; provides packaging and logging materials to manager.
