Violin Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated VIOLIN TEACHER to join our teaching team at Camino Music Studio! **Qualifications:** * **AT LEAST 2 years of teaching and lesson preparation experience with children to adults** * Earned or working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Education *highly preferred* * Demonstrate comprehensive ability and experience in preferred instrument and a strong foundation in Music Theory (Knowledge \& Experience with other instruments is a plus!) * **Must have experience teaching special needs children and young adults** * Effective communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills * **Must be flexible and able to adhere to the teaching schedule provided** * Must be willing to conduct lessons both virtually by means of video\-communication platforms (eg. Zoom) AND in\-person. * Must have reliable transportation to studio **Responsibilities**: * Conduct weekly private lesson instruction * Private lessons conducted for children through adults and beginner to advanced level * Report on students' progress and workload * Advise students and parents on goal setting and improvement, while encouraging fun and inspiration * **Must be willing to volunteer time to assist and participate in annual recitals** * Willingness to contribute to a committed teaching staff team Pay: $20\.00 \- $25\.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
