Job description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and passionate **CNA Instructor** to join our team and help train the next generation of Certified Nursing Assistants. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering classroom instruction, hands\-on skills training, and supervising students during clinical rotations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Teach CNA curriculum in accordance with state guidelines, including theory, lab skills, and clinical competencies.
* Provide clear, engaging instruction during weekday **morning/evening and weekend** classes.
* Supervise students during **clinical training at partnered healthcare facilities**.
* **Commute to off\-site clinical locations** as required for clinical supervision.
* Evaluate student performance, skills proficiency, and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and clinical evaluations.
* Ensure a safe, positive learning environment that promotes student success.
* Stay current with state regulations, CNA training requirements, and best practices.
* Support students with questions, tutoring, and exam preparation as needed.
**Qualifications**
* Current RN or LVN/LPN license in good standing (Required).
* Minimum of **2 years of nursing experience**, preferably in long\-term care or related field.
* Previous teaching or preceptor experience (preferred, but training available).
* Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively supervise and mentor adult learners.
* Reliable transportation to commute to clinical sites.
**Schedule**
* **Weekday AM classes:** Monday \- Friday (8:00 am–4:00 pm)
* **Evening classes:** Monday \- Friday \- Typically between 4:30 pm–10:00 pm (varies by session).
* **Weekend classes:** Saturdays \& Sundays (8:00 am–4:00 pm)
* Additional clinical site supervision hours required.
