**Job Duties**
Virginia Tax’s Business Quality Improvements (BQI) unit is seeking an analytical and organized professional to serve as the Integrated User Acceptance Testing (IUAT) Coordinator. BQI serves as the business owner of the agency’s System of Record (SOR) for administering state taxes, and this role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, readiness, and successful implementation of system changes across the agency.
**Position Overview**
The IUAT Coordinator will work collaboratively with Technology teams and Operational business areas to plan, organize, and execute integrated user acceptance testing for all changes to Virginia Tax’s SOR. These changes include system updates required to implement legislation enacted by the Virginia General Assembly as well as enhancements that improve business processes and customer service delivery.
**Key responsibilities include:**
* Developing IUAT plans, timelines, and staffing estimates.
* Coordinating with Operational areas to ensure timely assignment of testers.
* Training business testers in test case preparation and execution.
* Tracking testing progress, documenting results, and managing defect prioritization.
* Certifying testing completion and authorizing changes for production deployment.
* Knowledge of SQL queries to perform data analysis and support validation activities.
