Job description

Location: Warren, OH Cleveland\-Cliffs, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Process Control Engineer at our Warren, OH, location. This role is critical to maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of our process control systems. The engineer will work with a wide range of industrial automation technologies, computer systems, and instrumentation to support steel manufacturing operations. **Summary of Responsibilities** * System Support by maintaining and troubleshooting all aspects of process control systems, including hardware, software, and interfaces. * Modify systems to accommodate new inputs or implement ideas for continuous improvement. * Address issues that may impact production or system reliability. * Maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading SQL Server databases * Maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading virtual server environments (Vcenter, Hyper\-V, etc.) * Oversee real\-time computer control and monitoring of coke plant processes. * Maintain and upgrade computer hardware and software, including modernization of existing systems. * Administer operating systems such as Windows, Apple iOS, and Cisco. * Work with networking technologies, including Cisco and Palo Alto, high\-speed data transmission, and specialty computer interfaces. * Participate in project work, including planning, engineering design, hardware configuration, software development, testing, and system start\-up. * Stay informed of quality and reliability issues and work with vendors to address product and performance concerns. * Remain current with advancements in industrial control technologies. * Configure HMI screens using FactoryTalk View Site Edition and Machine Edition. * Perform Data Analysis on production data using Power BI. * Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience and/or certification (CCNA, etc.). * Familiar
