EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Sweeps, scrubs, mops and waxes floors; vacuums rugs and carpets; dusts, waxes, washes and polished furniture and woodwork; empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans restrooms and showers; washes windows and walls; cleans blackboards; cleans drinking fountains; polishes metal work; moves and arranges furniture and equipment; sets up, opens and closes classrooms and other facilities for various community activities and services; replaces light bulbs and makes minor non\-technical repairs to desks and equipment; cleans venetian blinds; reports need for repairs to buildings and equipment; checks and stores materials received; maintains equipment used in the course of work; watches buildings during late shifts to prevent vandalism, turns out lights and lock
