**Position Summary**
The Imaging Technical Assistant \- MRI supports the MRI Department.
Primarily responsibilities include administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, retrieving scans, scan and transfer reports and images, and communicating directly with patients and their parents/legal guardians. Additional duties may be assigned and/or requested.
In addition, the Imaging Technical Assistant \- MRI will be instrumental in partnering with the MRI Technologist in day\-to\-day responsibilities. This includes insuring patient exams have clear signed orders prior to scheduling, taking patients' medical history, escorting patients with parent/legal guardians (as appropriate), and positioning patients in the MRI scanner.
