Tutorial Lecturer for the course World History
The Bachelor Programme International Studies offers a temporary Tutorial Lecturer position (0, 4 FTE) for the course World History as of 1 5 August 2026\.
Job description
The candidate will teach tutorials in small work groups for first\- or second\-year BA students, carrying out detailed lesson plans with specified learning objectives previously designed for the tutorials under the supervision of a tutorial coordinator and in cooperation with their colleagues. The successful candidate will mark and assess student assignments and exams, provide feedback on assignments as well as additional didactic guidance to students in their work groups.
The candidate will work as a member of the current team of tutorial lecturers, under the supervision of the head of the tutorial lecturer team.
Tutorials have a didactic as well as a social objective. They provide the opportunity to discuss the subject matter presented during lectures and lecture readings, as well as applying key insights from the lectures in the form of assignments.
