Since 2010, we have supported more than 2,000 social entrepreneurs across 18 countries and three continents.<h3>About the Role</h3>This is a hands-on finance role sitting at the heart of Reach for Change's Swedish operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will own the full accounting cycle for our Swedish legal entity and subsidiaries, while partnering closely with colleagues across Europe on both organisational and donor-funded programs.The role combines operational accounting, financial reporting, grant finance, budgeting, compliance, and business partnering. It is well suited to someone who wants genuine ownership of a finance function and finds purpose in work that has real social impact behind it.Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is a requirement for the role. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Accounting & Financial Operations<ul><li>Own day-to-day accounting: accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger</li><li>Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with Swedish accounting standards</li><li>Year-end closing (Årsbokslut) and statutory annual report (Årsredovisning)</li><li>Tax filings and compliance with Swedish statutory requirements</li><li>Lead the external audit process and donor audits when required</li><li>Maintain financial controls, routines, and supporting documentation</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for accounting-related questions</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of the NetSuite ERP system and related tools</li></ul>Budgeting, Reporting & Financial Oversight<ul><li>Review and validate financial reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis prepared by the Project Controller</li><li>Ensure alignment between accounting records, budgets, and donor reporting</li><li>Provide financial guidance and training to non-finance colleagues across Europe</li><li>Support the Director of Finance and Operations on strategic planning and finance initiatives</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3>We are looking for someone with:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
