Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.</p> <p>The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the company’s vehicle. This role is responsible for all functions related to the vehicle, including the pre-trip report (DVIR), ensuring the truck is loaded properly, the material is secured to the truck, delivery of materials to the customer location, and processing of all customer delivery paperwork.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>JOB DESCRIPTION</u><br>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safely operate a heavy-load truck.</li> <li>Ensure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery.</li> <li>Ensure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift.</li> <li>Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.</li> <li>Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.</li> <li>Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).</li> <li>Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.</li> <li>Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving. </li> <li>Proficient in driving automatic transmission trucks. </li> <li>Possession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B) </li> <li>Capability to operate a gate lift. </li> <li>Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack.</li> <li>Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries. </li> <li>Ability to service all region’s distribution centers.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Travel is required for this position.</li> <li>Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory.</li> </ul> </div> <div class="WordSection2"> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving. </li> </ul> </div>
