This position reports to: Production Engineering Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics division (Force Measurement), part of the Process Automation business area, in Sweden, at our site in Västerås. Main stakeholders are the Production, R&D, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams, as well as external maintenance service providers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
Qualifications for the role
You have advanced skills in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies (TPM, RCM, root-cause analysis) and lean tools such as SMED, within precision sensor and electronics manuf
