PCB Design Engineer

About the Assignment
We are looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join a product development team working with advanced embedded electronic systems in a highly regulated industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys transforming hardware concepts into reliable, manufacturable PCB designs and contributing throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
In this role, you will work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, mechanical designers, test engineers, and manufacturing partners to develop high-quality electronic products with demanding requirements regarding performance, reliability, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts for complex embedded electronic systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers during schematic capture, layout planning, and design reviews.
Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI performance, thermal management, and manufacturability.
Create and maintain design documentation, fabrication files, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Support prototype builds, bring-up activities, debugging, and verification testing.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth transition from development to production.
Manage component footprints and schematic symbol libraries.
Perform design rule checks (DRC) and layout verification activities.
Contribute to technical improvements, design guidelines, and development best practices.
Support product maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
