Job description
**Job Details**
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or designee, the Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications as prescribed and ordered by a licensed physician and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards; for assisting in the operation of the Pharmacy; for providing clinical consultation and expertise where needed and requested, in support of client assessment and care processes; for participating in the development and conduct of clinical, staff, and continuing education programs and for collaborating with other staff and leaders in the development, management and operation of the Pharmacy. Provides technical supervision to support personnel in the performance of pharmacy duties.

**Qualifications**
**Education:**
* Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
**Experience:**
* A minimum of one year of hospital pharmacy practice experience is preferred.
**Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements:**
* Pharmacist licensure or eligibility for Pharmacist licensure in the State.
* Must be acquired within 3 months of hire date.
