**Role Overview:**

Our client is seeking a detail\-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to design low voltage switchboards and panelboards. This role is based in the Charleston area, with relocation support available for the right candidate. You will play a key role in developing complex electrical systems and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to bring designs from concept to production.
**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design low voltage switchboards and panelboards in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
* Create 3D sheet metal components and flat patterns
* Develop complex 3D assemblies with large multi\-component BOMs
* Produce wiring diagrams including PLCs, relays, breakers, and power systems
* Generate 2D drawings including layouts, single\-line diagrams, and front views
