**Reports to**: Principal
**Position Overview**
Visitation Catholic School is seeking a passionate and collaborative educator to serve as a Part\-Time 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher one day per week as part of a job\-share teaching model.
This unique position offers the opportunity to remain actively engaged in the classroom while maintaining a flexible schedule. The Monday teacher will serve as the lead instructor for English Language Arts on Mondays and work closely with the classroom teacher who teaches Tuesday through Friday to provide continuity of instruction and support student success.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, enjoys collaborating with colleagues, and is passionate about helping middle school students grow as readers, writers, critical thinkers, and communicators.
**Essential Responsibilities**
* Teach 7th Grade English Language Arts classes on Mondays.
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and instructional goals.
* Collaborate regularly with the Tuesday–Friday ELA teacher to ensure seamless instructional continuity.
* Communicate student progress, instructional needs, and classroom updates with the teaching partner.
* Utilize assessment data to support student growth and achievement.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and student engagement.
* Support Visitation Catholic School's mission and values.
* Participate in planning and coordination meetings as needed.
