A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Labor \& Delivery team. This position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, patient\-centered care to mothers and newborns in a collaborative and supportive hospital environment.
**Responsibilities**

* Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
* Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
* Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team
* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and postpartum care
* Identify patients at risk for injury and maintain a safe care environment
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to evidence\-based practice and continuous development
**Qualifications**
------------------
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
* Associate Degree in Nursing required
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Minimum of one year of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to perform effectively in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment
