Job description
About the Company
At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.
About the Role
You will help evolve an Electric Range Simulator used in sales to predict range for battery electric vehicles. The application is moving from a monolithic setup to a cloud-native, microservice-based solution running on ARO, so you will step into a hands-on modernization journey with clear technical impact.
This role suits you if you enjoy working across the stack while staying close to architecture, deployment, and product development. You will support capability development in a BEV-focused environment where Java, JavaScript, cloud, and container platforms are central. You will work on a solution with real business value, while influencing how it becomes more scalable, maintainable, and modern.
You will join a setting where technical decisions matter and where the shift to microservices creates room for both practical development work and architectural thinking. It is an attractive opportunity if you want to shape a meaningful cloud transformation in an automotive context.
Job DescriptionYou will contribute to the transformation of the Electric Range Simulator from a monolithic application to a microservice-based cloud solution.
You will develop and improve functionality across both backend and frontend using Java and JavaScript.
You will help design, build, and maintain microservices that support prediction and sales-related capabilities for BEV solutions.
You will work hands-on with containerized applications and deployment flows in platforms such as OpenShift and ARO.
You will support capability development within the TOST project and help move the solution toward a more scalable and modern architecture.
