About the Role
You will take a key role in developing mechanical solutions for electronic units in a product development environment where mechanics, electronics, and quality need to work together seamlessly. In this role, you will own your technical area and help ensure that designs meet performance, quality, and lifecycle requirements from concept to validation.
You will work closely with colleagues across R&D, sourcing, and quality, as well as with external partners, which gives you a broad interface and real influence on both design choices and ways of working. This is a strong opportunity for you if you enjoy combining detailed mechanical design with system integration in a technically challenging environment.
Job DescriptionYou will design mechanical parts for electronic units, including housings, mounting solutions, cabling, and thermal solutions.
You will integrate PCBA and electronic systems into mechanical designs with focus on function, manufacturability, and quality.
You will define and work with requirements, verification, and validation within your area.
You will create and maintain technical documentation and manage design changes in CATIA and PLM tools.
You will act as technical owner within your area and drive your work forward in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
You will contribute across functions together with R&D, sourcing, and quality to secure robust and well-integrated solutions.
RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field.
Experience with CATIA.
Experience with PLM tools.
