Job description
Want to influence the bigger picture? At Saab, you can realise amazing innovations that keep people and societies safe. Together, we can truly make an impact - and your part matters.
Your role
We don't build ordinary products. We design and develop advanced fighter aircraft where operational capability and information superiority are critical to national security and the protection of democratic societies.
We are now looking for an Information Security Engineer to join the JAS 39 Gripen program, as well as other Aeronautics platforms such as GlobalEye.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our systems meet stringent information security requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle. You will work close to design teams and system architects, and you will influence security decisions from early concept to final implementation.
You will help shape how we design secure, resilient and mission-critical systems in highly complex and classified environments.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and analyze information security requirements for systems and their operational environments
Translate security needs into clear, actionable system requirements
Define security architecture and design principles for subsystems and platforms
Review, assess and validate security functions across subsystems
Support development teams in implementing secure design solutions
Act as a technical representative within your domain towards customers and regulatory authorities
Your profile
We are looking for a systems-minded engineer with a strong interest in information security and how it enables robust and resilient defense systems.
You are analytical, structured and motivated by solving complex technical challenges in multidisciplinary teams.
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Strong collaboration skills
