This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ daily lives while showcasing your driving expertise and commitment to safety. **Duties** * Safely operate school buses following all traffic laws and safety protocols * Conduct pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical condition of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and emergency equipment * Assist children with loading and unloading, providing support for those with special needs or childcare requirements * Communicate clearly with students, parents, school staff, and colleagues to coordinate schedules and address any concerns or behavioral issues * Maintain accurate logs of routes, student counts, and vehicle inspections; complete incident reports if necessary * Enforce safety rules and behavior management policies to promote respectful conduct on the bus * Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly environment that encourages positive interactions with students and parents **Experience** * Valid driver’s license with a Class B CDL, school bus and passenger endorsement, with a clean driving record; experience in bus driving * Proven ability to operate large vehicles safely in various traffic conditions * Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities * Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable * Familiarity with behavior management techniques and child safety protocols * Prior experience in teaching, sen
