As a member of our founding team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the culture, standards, and customer experience from day one. **Position Summary** We’re looking for an experienced, hospitality and coffee quality\-focused Lead Barista to help lead our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, takes pride in quality and consistency, and thrives in a fast\-paced, customer\-focused environment. The Lead Barista will work closely with the owner to ensure exceptional coffee, outstanding customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff. **Responsibilities** Coffee \& Customer Experience · Prepare high\-quality espresso and coffee beverages with consistency. · Deliver warm, genuine hospitality to every customer. · Collaborate with the owner to develop and refine seasonal beverages and featured drinks. · Ensure drinks meet Neighborhood Coffee quality standards. · Help create a clean, welcoming, and organized café environment. · Gather customer feedback and collaborate with the owner to continually improve the customer experience. Team Leadership · Train and coach new baristas, with support from the owner. · Ensure drink quality, workflow, and customer service standards are maintained throughout each shift · Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture. · Help ensure recipes and procedures are followed consistently. · Contribute to recipe development for seasonal menus and new drinks. Operations · Open and close the café independently. · Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. · Assist the owner in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the business grows. · Assist with inventory management, ordering
