**Job Summary** *One sip, Two homelands* Sip of Silk is a Palestinian and Salvadoran café \- two cultures known for their bold flavors, resilience, and warm hospitality. It goes beyond just a place to grab drinks; it's where heritage, community, and connection come together. **Hours** 1 hour opening and 1 hour closing Sun\-Thurs: 7am\-9pm (store hours, 8\-8\) Fri \& Sat: 7am\-910pm (store hours, 8\-9\) \*Part\-time only \*\*Will need to be available for training. **Pay** Starting at $16\.37 \+ tips **Responsibilities** * Prepare high\-quality coffee, drinks, syrups, sandwiches, and more * Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling * Deliver exceptional, engaging customer service * Assist with inventory management as needed * Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards * Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall café efficiency **Experience** * Previous barista experience is preferred and prioritized * Must be at least 18 years old * Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs * Strong communication with customers, fellow team members, and management * Ability to adapt, learn, and grow * Strong time\-management skills, especially during rushes * Connecteams required for business communication * Reliable transportation is preferred (i.e. a car) but public transportation is accepted Job Type: Part\-time Pay: From $16\.37 per hour Work Location: In person
