Licensed Plumber
**Employment Type:** Independent Contractor (1099\) – Preferred
Lifetime Plumbing is seeking an experienced **Licensed Plumber** to join our team. We are looking for a dependable professional to install, modify, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and water and drainage systems. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, troubleshoot issues efficiently, communicate professionally with customers, and mentor Plumbing Apprentices when needed.
Licensed Plumber Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
* Install and repair household plumbing appliances.
* Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
* Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
* Respond to service calls and address customer questions professionally.
* Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
* Install and repair sanitation systems, including bathtubs, showers, toilets, and sinks.
* Service water heaters, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and other plumbing\-related appliances.
* Determine materials and equipment needed for each job and prepare cost estimates.
Job Requirements
* Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
* Minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience.
* Valid plumbing license.
* Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, and venting systems.
* Ability to read blueprints and use plumbing tools proficiently.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Working Conditions
**Environmental Conditions:** Regular work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, uneven surfaces, loud noises, fumes, airborne particles, and occasional electrical hazards.
