Line Cook/Prep Cook

**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. This role involves working on a grill station, fry station and pizza station. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic culinary environment, contributing to the creation of delicious meals in a fast\-paced setting. **Responsibilities** * Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards * Cook and plate meals efficiently during service hours, maintaining consistency and presentation standards * Handle food safely, adhering to all food handling and sanitation regulations * Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts * Support catering events and special functions as needed * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods * Ensure compliance with health department regulations and safety procedures **Qualifications** * Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cook is preferred. Pizza experience is a plus but not requirement, we are willing to teach you! * Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and food safety protocols * Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation * Knowledge of dietary requirements * Food Handlers and Allergen Certificate required * Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: $17\.50 \- $19\.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
