Wallcoverings Sales Associate

**Job Summary** Allen Funk's Wallpapers has been the go\-to wallpaper shop in the Raleigh area for over 20 years. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wallcoverings Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to achieving sales goals through effective upselling techniques. **Duties** * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner. * Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers. * Assist in stock management by restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks. * Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. * Collaborate with store manager to meet store goals and improve overall customer satisfaction. **Experience** * Previous experience in interior design or similar is preferred. * Familiarity with retail and design math concepts to assist in inventory management, sales reporting, and calculating square footage and quantity of product needed. * Ability to work Tuesday\-Saturday, 12pm to 5:30pm.
