As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), we are increasing our presence in Columbus and this is an opportunity to play a part in one of the most exciting technology agendas in the firm right now, as we look to grow the solution further by several flag\-ship technology innovation streams. This is an opportunity to join the engineering team responsible for the platform supporting:

**Job responsibilities**
* Confidently collaborates directly with Investment Teams, Traders, and Portfolio Managers, effectively bridging communication without relying on business analysts or Project Managers.
* Thrives in a fast\-paced environment, contributing to one of Asset Management's most high\-profile platforms.
* Operates as part of an agile team, regularly deploying software updates to production and adjusting to the dynamic needs and scale of the business.
* Influences peers and project decision\-makers to consider the use and application of leading\-edge technologies
* Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
* Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
* Serves as a function\-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
* Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
* Develops secure and high\-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
