This includes gathering business requirements, extracting data, conducting statistical analyses, creating reports and visualizations, and developing system solutions. The Data Scientist, Lead readily displays the ability to diagnose issues, identify appropriate resources and escalations, and propose creative solutions to complex problems. Under general direction, the Data Scientist, Lead is an Epic certified or proficient individual, who is responsible for the stakeholder management, work distribution, strategy, support, analysis, design, build, configuration, implementation, workflow documentation, and educational support of the assigned Epic application or third\-party software, in alignment with organization's policies, procedures, and business operations. The Data Scientist,Lead provides leadership and mentorship to less\-experienced analysts and data scientists to help build knowledge, skill and ability. In addition, this individual develops strategies and tactics to implement cross department complex workflows aligned with Denver Health or department strategic objectives with ability to organize and present information effectively. This includes, but may not be limited to providing technical guidance, leading huddles, project management, and helping to standardize work efforts across all team staff.
