Part Time Registered Nurse

Christabel LLC is currently in need of a Registered Nurse ($50 \- $52 an hour) or a Licensed Vocational Nurse ($36 \- $38 an hour) to provide nursing services that are within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act to individuals diagnosed with Mental Health conditions and who are receiving services in the Home and Community\-Based Services, Adult Mental Health (HCBS\-AMH) program. A license to practice in Texas is required. \- The nurse will be able to promote HCBS\-AMH (Home and Community\-Based Services, Adult Mental Health) philosophy and standard to ensure quality of care. \- The nurse will provide one\-on\-one assessment and care 1\-3 times per week at our supervised living single family homes in Austin TX 78754, Pflugerville TX 78660, and Manor TX 78653, and manage ongoing chronic conditions that the clients may have. \- The nurse will educate clients and staff on medications, medication administration (including training, monitoring, and evaluation of side effects), and help the clients fill medication boxes for a week or two. \- The nurse will demonstrate commitment, competence, and professionalism at all times, and supervise delegated tasks. \- The nurse will provide nursing care in accordance with guidelines from the Texas State Board of Nursing, and comply with all local and federal authorities.
