**Work you'll do**
Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Sales Engineer to join our dynamic alliance sales team. The AWS Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving the growth of our AWS cloud services across our GPS sectors by providing technical expertise, developing solutions, and supporting sales efforts. Additional responsibilities include:
Technical Expertise and Solution Development:
* Serve as a subject matter expert on AWS cloud services, providing technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
* Develop and present AWS\-based solutions that address client needs and align with their business objectives.
* Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost\-effective AWS solutions for government and public sector clients.
* Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for AWS adoption, migration, and optimization.
Sales Support and Client Engagement:
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities for AWS cloud services within the GPS sector.
* Participate in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to articulate the value of AWS solutions.
* Develop and deliver technical proposals, statements of work, and other sales collateral.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and business goals.
