Plumbing Engineer/Designer - San Francisco, CA

**The Opportunity:** Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is expanding our plumbing engineering group in California and is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer/Designer who is passionate about sustainable design and ready to take a lead role on diverse projects. Short\-term responsibilities include leading plumbing designs and supporting construction administration; long\-term career growth includes building and leading a regional plumbing practice and shaping standards and workflows within the group. **Position Summary:** The Senior Plumbing Engineer/Designer will lead plumbing and process piping consulting and design efforts from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. The successful applicant will be responsible for plumbing system calculations, technical design deliverables, coordination with other disciplines, QA/QC compliance, and mentoring junior staff. The role requires regular collaboration with internal and external project teams and regular site visits for field observation and investigation.
