CDL Driver, Class A

A Philabundance Driver carries out the primary operation of the organization \- efficiently picking up and delivering donated surplus, prepared and perishable foods in the Philadelphia region. Drivers work an 8\-hour shift between the hours of 5am and 5pm, M\-F. Overtime, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required as necessary. Required Experience: * 1\+ year of commercial driving experience * Experience in safely operating and maintaining commercial vehicles * Familiarity with local and regional traffic laws and regulations Required Skills and Abilities: * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A, with a clean driving record * Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks * Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries * Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required * Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems for efficient route planning
