About the Role
You will join a platform-focused embedded software team working close to the latest technologies from Android and Google’s ecosystem. The role sits in an automotive infotainment environment where new platform capabilities need to be evaluated, integrated and made ready for real customer use.
You will help bridge emerging Android technologies with embedded automotive applications, with a strong focus on scalable solutions, continuous product updates and configurability. At the same time, you will contribute to compliance with Google Automotive Services (GAS) requirements and support the platform’s long-term direction. This is an exciting opportunity if you enjoy combining low-level embedded work with modern Android-based platform development in a fast-moving technical domain.
Job DescriptionYou will be part of an agile team with a strong hands-on engineering focus, working closely with the Product Owner and project stakeholders.
You will drive feature development and technical innovation across different parts of the embedded platform.
You will evaluate and operationalize new technologies from Android and Google’s ecosystem for use in the platform and in customer-facing solutions.
You will refine requirements and ideas together with the team and turn them into robust technical implementations.
You will work close to hardware, including hardware interfacing, low-level programming and test rigs when needed.
You will contribute to solutions that are scalable, configurable and ready for continuous product updates.
