Job description
Medical Director / Supervising Physician – Primary Care \& Allergy Services
We are a healthcare management company seeking a qualified Medical Director / Supervising Physician to provide clinical oversight for an established primary care and allergy services model. This is a flexible, highly supported role designed for a physician who wants to remain clinically involved without taking on the full burden of daily practice management or building systems from scratch.
Our current Medical Director is retiring and has helped develop the clinical structure, policies, procedures, protocols, documentation templates, and workflows currently in place. The incoming physician will receive full training and onboarding from our team, including guidance on our clinical model, EHR documentation, patient assessment process, allergy protocols, injection visit workflow, note review process, and sign\-off expectations.
This is not a “figure it out on your own” position. Established protocols, standing orders, documentation templates, and operational workflows are already in place. Our management team supports scheduling, staff coordination, documentation organization, workflow management, compliance processes, and day\-to\-day operations. The physician’s role is to provide appropriate medical direction, patient assessment, clinical oversight, documentation review, and quality assurance.
The physician will work with a trained care team that may include Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and administrative staff. Clinical staff will provide approved services within their scope of practice and under applicable supervision requirements. Services may include primary care visits, allergy testing, immunotherapy injections, follow\-up care, and related services when clinically appropriate.
