System & Software Engineer

<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>System & Software Engineer</strong> to work on the development of a complex missile system platform (RBS15 MPC) and its associated test equipment. This is a highly technical assignment where deep knowledge of the product’s architecture, behavior and development history is essential.</p><p>In this role, you will contribute to system design, software development, integration and verification activities, supporting a rapidly growing organization with demanding delivery timelines.</p><h6><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h6><ul><li><p>System‑level and software development for the <strong>RBS15 MPC platform</strong></p></li><li><p>Design and implementation of <strong>test systems and test equipment</strong> for verification and validation</p></li><li><p>Contribute to product evolution, architecture decisions, and long‑term technical strategy</p></li><li><p>Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across system, software, electronics and test</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex system issues</p></li><li><p>Support high‑pace development and delivery phases with expert knowledge of the product</p></li></ul><h6><strong>Qualifications</strong></h6><ul><li><p>Extensive experience in <strong>system and software development</strong> for complex embedded defense systems</p></li><li><p><strong>Must have prior hands‑on experience with RBS15 product development</strong><br><em>(experience with this specific product line is required to succeed in the assignment)</em></p></li><li><p>Strong background in test system development and hardware‑software integration</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in fast‑moving, delivery‑critical environments</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills</p></li><li><p>Fluent in Swedish and English</p></li></ul><h6><strong>Additional Information</strong></h6><p>Some assignments may require security vetting or specific citizenship depending on client needs.</p><h6><strong>About Astek Sweden</strong></h6><p>Astek is built on curiosity, technical passion and a commitment to innovation.
