<p><strong>T-Unit</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;">We are a recently well-funded, mission-driven startup building tools that help society withstand and adapt to security threats, natural disasters, extreme weather, and other risks. Our platform powers simulation, scenario planning, incident management, and early warning, enabling organizations to prepare for the unexpected.<br><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help architect an AI-powered platform for crisis management, providing situational overviews, consequence modeling, and prioritization to support users in making critical decisions with real-world impact.</p><p class="MsoNormal">In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and operations) to build tools that save lives and protect property. You will also get the opportunity to contribute to the technical strategy, offering insights and solutions that align with the company’s goals. As a senior team member, you will be expected to mentor and guide peers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will play a key role in assisting with hiring and building a strong, diverse team that thrives in a collaborative and inclusive environment.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em>What You’ll Do:</em></strong></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left:54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Work in a cloud-agnostic environment and sometimes on bare metal, deploying and maintaining critical infrastructure.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Oversee S3 storage, and handle databases and backup operations, ensuring they are secure and resilient.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Automate manual processes and implement monitoring solutions to maintain the platform’s performance and stability.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;"> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;"><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;">We understand that no one ticks every box, and that’s okay. If you are driven, humble, and have a growth mindset, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;"><em>Key Qualifications:</em></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· 4+ years of experience in DevOps development.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Expertise in Linux administration, Kubernetes (K8S), and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Strong skills in monitoring and/or automation</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Experience with on-prem environments</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 54pt;text-indent:-18pt;">· Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and open to learning from others.</p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin:12pt 0cm 12pt 36pt;"> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:12pt 0cm;"><em>It’s a bonus if you have experience with backend development and familiarity with CEPH and S3.
