Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role ensures operational and procedural excellence across both site\-level and network\-level functions by managing containment actions, cross functional partnerships, audit compliance and site improvement efforts. The role will drive continuous improvement in inventory quality, compliance, and cost efficiency—while supporting the execution of site\-level quality plans and scaling network audit programs through automation and reporting.
**What You'll Do*** Network Containment Management: Coordinate and execute containment actions across the network, ensuring timely communication, tracking, and resolution of quality issues impacting inventory and fulfillment operations
* Quarantine \& Disposition Oversight: Manage the lifecycle of quarantined materials, including root cause analysis, rework planning, and final disposition through approved channels (e.g., scrap, return, or reuse)
* Internal and 3PL Labor Coordination for Rework: Partner with internal or third\-party logistics (3PL) providers to scope, schedule, and oversee rework activities, ensuring quality standards and turnaround times are met
* Cross\-Functional Energy Quality Point of Contact: Serve as the quality liaison between GFNV/NY, Engineering, and Planning teams to align on issue resolution, process improvements, and material flow decisions
* Quality Resolution \& Cost Efficiency: Lead efforts to resolve quality issues with a focus on minimizing operational disruption and maximizing cost recovery or avoidance through efficient remediation
