Job description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within manufacturing facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of industrial systems, including hydraulics, electrical components, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). As a Service Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring optimal operation, safety, and reliability of machinery, providing exceptional customer service and technical support on\-site and in the field. Your expertise will help keep production lines running smoothly, contributing directly to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
**Duties**
* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, HVAC/R units, and electrical components.
* Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to identify issues accurately.
* Conduct inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments and mechanical knowledge to ensure machinery meets safety and operational standards.
* Operate field service vehicles and equipment such as scissor lifts to access high or hard\-to\-reach areas safely.
* Collaborate with customers and internal teams to diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and execute repairs efficiently.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and industrial mechanics to prevent accidents or injuries.
**Qualifications**
* Proven experience working in an industrial mechanic or maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
* Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage systems, industrial electrician practices, and high voltage safety procedures.
