In this dual role, you will provide essential support to our physical therapists and work directly with patients to prevent and treat sports\-related injuries. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, performing therapeutic exercises, and educating patients and athletes on injury prevention and wellness. \*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\* \- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. \- Conduct therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques as directed by the supervising physical therapist. \- Assess and treat injuries in the clinic. \- Design and implement conditioning programs to help patients maintain peak performance. \- Educate patients and/or athletes on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and general wellness. \- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes. \- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. \- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy and athletic training practices. \*\*Qualifications:\*\* \- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. OR \- Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification (BOC). \- State licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant and Athletic Trainer (or eligibility to obtain licensure). \- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. \- E
