Clinical Pharmacists assume responsibility and accountability for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. The Inpatient Medicine\- Abdominal Transplant Clinical Pharmacist will cover general medicine/surgical and abdominal transplant patients, serving as an expert of pharmacotherapy for the interdisciplinary transplant and medicine teams. This position requires application of clinical training to review transplant and medicine pharmacotherapy on interdisciplinary rounds, lead education for patients and healthcare professionals, contribute to protocols and guidelines, quality improvement and research projects, and training for residents and students. The Inpatient Medicine\-Abdominal Transplant Clinical Pharmacist is an exceptional resource to the Pharmacy, Transplant, and Medicine Departments, with whom they collaborate closely.
