Job description
The Metro Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Southeast Business Center is a revenue\-generating sales position working with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships within the Charlotte Metro territory. The ASM will serve as a liaison between the dealers and Stellantis to assist in all areas of retail development, including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring the dealer orders meet market demand, and managing monthly vehicle scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the area. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities, review and analysis of dealer financial statements as well as consult with dealers on areas of opportunity to improve their retail operations. In addition, this role will ensure that advertising and marketing initiatives are consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines, and strategies align with growth opportunities for the dealership. The ASM will also ensure proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships. The Area Sales Manager will motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance while meeting internal goals.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3\+ years of sales or marketing experience
Lives in or near Charlotte Metro or is willing to relocate for this position
Skilled in Microsoft Suite applications
Experience in a new car automotive dealership environment
Ability to multi\-task in a fast\-paced work environment
Excel in building positive working relationships
Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement
Self\-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals
