InfoTech Security and Support Specialist

Description: **Purpose of the Job:** The InfoTech Security and Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing technical support to end users for computer hardware, software, other technology equipment, and business\-related applications. This position requires daily interaction with end\-users and effective communication of technical answers in a way the end user can understand. **Reports to:** IT System Infrastructure Manager **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Responsible for providing end user technical support over phone or in person when required for desktop hardware and software issues, application support and system access problems. * Manage helpdesk service requests; ensuring helpdesk tickets are properly prioritized and addressed in a timely manner; follows up and communicates to all involved and tracks calls. * Oversees the installation \& configuration of hardware, operating systems, mobile devices, peripherals, and applications. Includes the imaging of laptops \& desktops. * Assist in assessing security environment and providing recommendations to help meet security requirements * Assist with the supporting, monitoring and management of IT infrastructure including day\-to\-day IT operations. * Coordinate and help manage information security and technology installations and upgrades. * Assist with maintaining Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint. * Troubleshoots and researches issues independently then escalate issues in a timely manner as needed. * Assist in implementing technical changes to information systems and network infrastructure. * Assist in the preparation and response to external audits and assessments. * Assist in implementing security compliance process improvements and technical controls. * Under the direction of management, duties include assisting with creating and maintaining policies and procedures, conducting internal audits, and staying current with security tre
