Senior .NET Software Engineer - Contract

Job Title: Software Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite) Job Type: Contract (2\+ Years) Client: LAUSD Eligibility: Ex\-LAUSD candidates only Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a long\-term project with LAUSD. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, modern web application development, API services, database design, and front\-end technologies. This role requires a hands\-on technical leader who can drive development efforts, mentor team members, and deliver high\-quality enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate application development activities including requirements gathering, scheduling, and troubleshooting across development and production environments. * Lead system design and development methodologies to deliver modern web\-based applications. * Perform unit testing, integration testing, and load testing for websites, applications, and system integrations. * Design and implement database architectures while ensuring data quality and successful data loads. * Gather business requirements and recommend appropriate software solutions and technologies. * Establish and implement standards, processes, and best practices to ensure high\-quality application delivery. * Collaborate with project management, leadership teams, and business users to provide estimates, project schedules, and status updates. * Participate in application design strategy sessions and code review meetings. * Mentor development team members and support knowledge transfer activities. * Develop system documentation, user guides, and support tools for end users. Required Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex .NET web applications, APIs, workflows, and SQL\-based solutions.
