Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described.* * Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment * Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner * Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance * Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour * Grades and returns student work in a timely manner * Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course * Assists with establishing goals and objectives for assigned courses; provides course feedback and recommendations to the Program Director, SCM Remains up to date on technology and methods of teaching with technology Uses assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching Must complete all mandatory adjunct and institutional directed training as assigned by the college. Attends professional development opportunities when possible Attends meetings scheduled by the Program Director, SCM **Qualifications** ------------------ **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** Ability to teach online and/or seated classes as assigned Computer skills using basic functions of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook and proficient in MS Excel with excellent spreadsheet and calculation skills Ability to use a wide variety of teaching methods to promote learning Be innovative, creative, and motivated Ability to exhibit good interpersonal skills a
